My name is Asrat Wondie Yitay. I am 12 years old and I am grade 2 student in Abalibanos ABEC. I live in Dera woreda Wonchet kebele at Abalibanos village. I have a movement problem on my two legs that made me paralysed at a time which i don`t remember. I came to school by the enforcement of teachers and centre management committees in which i was kept at home not to be exposed even for my age mates in my surrounding. I have got a good chance to learn in spite that this organization constructed school of Abalibanos.
Now I am following my education in this school equally with my friends and I have been provided with ample number of exercise books, pens and pencils so that I am confidential to come early in the morning to come to school with the help of my stick and my classmates in the fact that the school is constructed very near for my village. All the staffs of the school are comfortable for me, they encourage me as if i am not disabled and hence i can continue my school without any inferiority. Now I don`t have any feeling in relation with my leg movement problem due to the support from the teachers and the organization as well as the school is established at a very near distant for my home. I think the school is constructed only for my purpose that if this School were not installed here I wouldn`t have been enter to school to learn throughout my life due to my moment obstacle and my families in volunteer to send.
I need this ABEC to have upgraded and expanded classrooms especially for those children with disabilities and small age children that we cannot travel to Schools of Hamusit and Mutansa which are very far from our village.
I like you and WCAT for all your supports in the past and in the future.
